Prove’em Wrong

I don't know about all of you, but when someone tells me I can't (or shouldn't/couldn't, etc) do something, it only makes me want to work harder. SO I just read this article about "WHY WOMEN CAN'T DO PULL-UPS"

I struggle with them still after 5 months of working on it, but in 5 months I went from a green band, to being able to do 1 strict pull-up without a band. Just wait til I can do 10.

This is my favorite quote from the article “Generally speaking, the longer the limb, the more of a disadvantage in being able to do a pull-up. I look at a volleyball player and wouldn’t expect her to be able to do a pull-up, but I know she’s fit.”  Watch me.

And on that note, I've seen Jess and Morgan working on muscle-ups, won't be long until they're doing them! Women are strong...no excuses needed!

For anyone that didn't know, Matt and I participated in the Barbells For Boobs fundraiser at Collar City CrossFit on Saturday morning. It was a great time, and we had the privilege to workout with a breast cancer survivor. Check out more about the even here!
