When/Why did you first start doing CrossFit?
I started in November 2012 after seeing what the Hogan brothers had been
up to. I was hooked after the first WOD. It involved KBS, rowing,
double/single unders, and me feeling sick. I did it for about 7 months
then took some time off. I joined again in January 2014.
What fitness activities were you doing before?
Typical weightlifting but never lower body. Whoops. Occasional running.
What results have you seen since you joined CrossFit Beyond?
Increased leg and core strength. Increased endurance. Manlier hands.
What do you like most about CF?
The group aspect. Everyone pushes each other. It's a great stress
reliever. When I'm in there, all I can think about is CF.
What is your favorite CF exercise?
I'm starting to like overhead squats a lot. I've always liked burpees.
Your least favorite?
The olympic lifts.
What CF accomplishment are you currently most proud of?
Not dying and big increases in lower body strength.
What CF goal are you working towards?
A back squat of 2x body weight. A deadlift of 2.5x body weight. 100
burpees in under 7 min. 2k row time of under 7:30. I just tried
"Karen" and wasn't close to my goal of under 8 min. 20 rounds for
Cindy. I could go on but I won't. <------numbers nerd \o-o/
