This week's Athlete Spotlight is on Trenton, one of CrossFit Beyond's trainer!
When/how did you get started in CrossFit? I officially started CrossFit February 2012. Tim Swaisgood, a good friend of mine, introduced me to CrossFit back in 2006 (when I was 16) at Albany CrossFit. We did a 20 minute AMRAP of 5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups, and 15 air squats. I was crushed, but loved it! At the time, I was living in Ohio and didn't have any CrossFit near me, so I continued my usual workouts in the gym and every now and then would perform a CrossFit workout... Just for that extra "push". An opportunity came my way in February when I met Joy and CrossFit Beyond, and I've been here ever since!
Favorite WOD?They are all kind of a love/hate relationship. But if I had to pick one, it would be Linda. I enjoy power lifting the most and Linda brings out my 3 favorite heavy lifts. Dead lifting would be my top favorite movement. I've been able to accomplish more gains in dead lifting than anything else.
Least favorite WOD(s)? The ones that involve running.

I was hit in the face with a golf club when I was 13.
I hate needles.
I have never broken a bone.
