When/Why did you first start doing CrossFit?
In February 2012 Joe Chromczak invited me to an Albany Police Department Lieutenant John Finn memorial WOD, from that point on I was hooked.
What fitness activities were you doing before?
Prior to Crossfit I was a runner. I was doing very little cross/weight training.
What results have you seen since you joined CrossFit Beyond?
I’ve definitely noticed an increase in my strength and overall wellness. I have also noticed an increased level of endurance when I’m skiing, hiking or adventure running.
What do you like most about CF?
I like the “unknown”. When you walk into the Box, look at the board and say, “this is gonna suck”. So you weigh your options…walk out and hopefully no one will notice (NOT A REAL OPTION) or you embrace the SUCK and leave with a sense of accomplishment, eager to return for more.
What is your favorite CF exercise?
I like Thrusters,Burpees and Wall-Balls.!
Your least favorite?
I dislike double-unders.
What CF accomplishment are you currently most proud of?
Since I started CrossFit I’ve endured two surgeries (Non-Crossfit related). CrossFit has strengthened me and my ability to rebound so quickly as a result of my level of fitness, makes me proud.
What CF goal are you working towards?
I want to be a well rounded athlete and remain injury free.
