When/Why did you first start doing CrossFit?
I first started CF in May of 2012. My best friend talked me into trying a month with her. After I agreed, I looked at pictures online and wondered what the hell I signed up for.
What fitness activities were you doing before?
Before CF I really didn’t do much, I worked all of the time. In between working I tried different gyms, exercise classes and a few exercise videos at home, but they all bored me.
What results have you seen since you joined CrossFit Beyond?
Since joining CF Beyond I’ve become a lot stronger and have surprising definition in my arms, shoulders and back.
What do you like most about CF?
This is tough because there is so much I like about CF. I love that each class is different. I love not knowing what the workout is going to be. I love trying to beat my PR’s and competing with the numbers on the board. I love that I am sore everywhere. Most of all I love that everyone supports each other and when you don’t think you can do anymore someone is there to tell you that you can.
What is your favorite CF exercise?
My favorite CF exercise for some reason is burpees.
Your least favorite?
My least favorite CF exercise is a tie between rowing and thrusters.
What CF accomplishment are you currently most proud of?
The CF accomplishments I am currently most proud of are figuring out how to do double unders and RXing a few WODs.
What CF goal are you working towards?
The CF goal I am working towards now is putting up higher numbers for my squats and deadlifts.
