We have had a couple really good weekends of Women ONLY classes.
This weekend Rosina and Tanya really showed their stuff. In-between laughing and trying really hard to have the bar pick them up instead of the other way around showing an interesting perspective on how things should or shouldn't be done.
After we got it figured out that the bar wasn't going to help, we needed to get serious and learn thrusters.
Thrusters are hard. It takes coordination. It takes knowledge of the squat and push press. When put all together it can be a very free flowing vertical movement.
Thrusters are powerful movements that show with good technique one can really move heavy weight overhead.
Very nice job tonight women! What an accomplishment learning this movement and getting the coordination, balance, and sequence down.
